COMPANY PROFILE
"You say I work too hard. I can't control it, it's my art. And turning of
that part is jus like turning off my heart." - W-I-Z, "Where You @" 2003.
IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC, began in 2003 when friends and former
University of Miami classmates Regina J. Bennett and W-I-Z decided to
merge their production companies in an effort to bring an innovative and
distinctly urban yet sophisticated flavor to the world of entertainment.
IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC, encompasses a wide spectrum of services,
including film, video, and music production, script writing, editing, still
photography, voice overs, and more.
It truly all started in 1999, when Play Cousin Productions, the flagship
company of IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC, was formed. The company's early
focus was on the burgeoning music video industry developing in South
Florida.
Having been on the sets of videos featuring high-profile artists such as
Jay-Z, Trick Daddy, Dru Hill, the Cash Money Millionaires, Trina, UGK, The
Lost Boyz and Pastor Troy, just to name a few, Regina was able to firmly
establish Play Cousin Productions as a legitimate and recognizable entity in
South Florida's entertainment circles.
In 2002, W-I-Z, quickly tiring of his tenure in a corporate setting,
decided to pursue his dream of making music and created Fearless Soulz
Productions, now the music division of IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC. This
made perfect sense as Gary shared the same drive and creative perspective as
Regina.
In 2003, IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC, was formed as a parent company for
Play Cousin Productions and Fearless Soulz Productions.
Today, IBIS Entertainment Group, LLC, is taking off quickly. With music
videos, television commercials, and a mixtape under their belt, this young
company is already making a substantial impact in South Florida's
entertainment community. However, this is only the beginning, as the
company seeks to diversify and expand, delving into areas such as artist
management, music publishing and administration, and establishing a record
label.

Regina's Bio
Regina J. Bennett's passion for the art of film started early in life. Her
aunt would routinely take Regina, and her cousins, to the movies where they
would movie-hop all day. Regina's mother also encouraged her child's love
for movies and purchased hundreds of blank videotapes, so Regina could
record her favorite movies and television shows, while she babysat her
younger sisters and brother. At the age of 15, Regina received her first
video camera, as a birthday present. She wrote, shot and edited many short
films just for fun in her spare time during the summers leading up to
college.
During her senior year in high school a TV production class was offered but
she was not allowed to take the class because of her reputation as a class
clown. Being bused out of her predominantly black neighborhood to a
predominantly white school was not easy for Regina. For years, Regina hid
from her friends, in her neighborhood, the fact that she was in honors
classes and excelled academically. While in school she chose to focus on her
basketball achievements and down played her academic successes. Thus, it was
as a surprise to everyone when Regina was offered an academic scholarship to
the University of Miami to study Film.
Regina excelled in college and took a very active role in campus activities.
She served 2 terms as President of the Black Filmmakers Association, became
a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated and in 1999 was inducted
into the Greek National Honor society, for her academic achievements. In
1999, Regina graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communications with
dual majors in Film and African American history.
After graduation, Regina took a position with AT&T Media Services as a TV
Producer where she worked for 6 years. At the same time she freelanced on
music video for top artist such as Trick Daddy, Trina, Pastor Troy, Lost
Boyz, and Dru Hill just to name a few. In order to take her career to the
next level Regina received her master's degree in Organizational Management
from the University of Phoenix, and formed Ibis Entertainment Group.
W-I-Z Bio

Gary's Bio aka W-I-Z
W-I-Z stands somewhere between the urban nature of
hip-hop and the culture
of Corporate America. Growing up in GA allowed him to develop skills on
many musical fronts, such as MC'ing, choreography, and production. His
first years of performance experience resulted from his joining a dance
group called Guess Who. This group did many concert appearances, talent
shows, and other events throughout Georgia.
W-I-Z and two other members of Guess Who decided to give rap a try, and soon
realized that they were far more talented in this area than anyone had
expected. This trio, W-I-Z, Biz, and Black, became known as Phanatik Poetz,
a.k.a the Fearless Soulz Crew. Over the next couple of years, Phanatik
Poetz grew to include Knowledge (E.R), Tragik, and Beade, three other
exceptional MCs.
Once W-I-Z graduated from high school, he decided to utilize his intellect
and pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami.
In parallel, he continued to strengthen his musical abilities. The
principles that W-I-Z followed that would lead him to success were very
simple: stay true to yourself, follow your dreams, and always have backup
plan.
During his college years, Phanatik Poetz once again was blessed by the
coming of a few more highly talented individual: Jimmey Fingers and Graf-X
(the superior and righteous).
Once the pain of obtaining his bachelors degree was numbed by his job
offers,
W-I-Z decided to increase his worth from a corporate perspective. However,
as his passion for music continued to grow, his patients for corporate
BULLSHIT lessened. As a result, W-I-Z decided to begin investing heavily in
studio equipment.
Currently, W-I-Z is completing his MBA and is also the President and Founder
of Ibis Entertainment Group's Music Division. In order for this Libra to be
in complete balance (and not be broke), he still works full time as an
engineer for a small telecommunications company in Miami.
The next big musical project for W-I-Z is to complete the first Phanatik
Poetz album, called Fire and Ice: Fire for those burnin' hot lyrics and Ice
for those spine-chilling beats! He hopes that this album will show how
opposites attract and remained balanced on many different levels.
